My Vows

From the moment we first met, I knew you were someone special, a beautiful Human being with an even prettier soul. From the moment we exchanged our first words, laughed our first laughs and walked our first walks, I knew I wanted to be by your side no matter what.

Fame? Expensive cars? Being on TV shows all around the world? All pointless, all meaningless, all tasteless. Nothing ever compared (and nothing ever will) to our late night conversations about our favorite movies and books. You heard my poor Jazzy rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody and loved it, despite my sore throat and the neighbors almost throwing rocks at us.

My sweet little Sophie, you taught me to live again. In you, I found the little boy I once was. In you, I found a reason to wake up every morning with a spring in my step and a song in my heart.

Through laughter and tears, we found our way, always ready to share knowledge, cakes, tea and the best embraces ever. I hereby promise to take care of you until the very day I die and beyond. I promise to support you through happiness and sorrow. I promise to be your biggest fan, your best friend and your unconditional cheerleader. I promise to be right here for you, always and in all ways.

My woman, my hobbit, my everything, I love you with all my heart and soul. Let's make our journey together, building our little Shire on this crazy Earth.
